The Danish North Sea gas production will soon begin to decline. Energinet.dk will therefore increase the capacity on the gas transmission system in South Jutland by establishing an extra gas pipeline between Ellund in Germany and Egtved in Denmark. We plan to build a compressor station at Egtved at the same time. We also want to expand our gas storage facility at Lille Torup near Viborg.
