Working in the vicinity of gas pipelines and electrical installations

If you work in the vicinity of GAS PIPELINES
The technical regulations for work in the vicinity of gas pipelines are published in the pamphlet ‘Beware of gas pipelines’. The pamphlet can be downloaded in Danish at the bottom of this page.

Be cautious, dig carefully and remember!

  • Report all damage to gas pipelines to the Pipeline Information Office or the natural gas company that owns the pipelines.
  • Cordon off the area and call the natural gas company whose pipelines you have damaged.
  • Call Energinet.dk or the responsible natural gas company and the fire brigade if the gas is on fire.

If you work in the vicinity of ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS
The technical rules for work in the vicinity of cables or power lines are published in the pamphlet “Pas på ledningerne og livet” (Beware of lines and your life).

The file can only be opened and read on the screen, ie it cannot be printed, and graphics and text cannot be marked and copied. If you want the text in a printable pdf version, please contact Dansk Energi that publishes the leaflet, they can also provide you with a printed version.
