In the event of accidents and in emergencies

    +45 80 30 10 45
  • The electricity control centres can be contacted 24 hours a day on

If GAS is involved

  • Stop work and stop all machines
  • Leave the site and cordon off the area
  • Avoid use of open fire and electrical equipment

Accidents and emergencies may take the form of:

  • Gas leaks from pipes
  • Damage to gas pipes during work
  • ‘Something unusual’ at or around the gas pipe

Call before you dig! We can be contacted on tel. +45 76 22 47 62 between 8-16.
If you damage a gas pipe, you must report it immediately. You should never attempt to repair a gas pipe or stop gas leaks yourself.

Report all incidents
Even the smallest scratch to the surface of the gas pipe may entail a risk. If you observe anything unusual in connection with the pipe or at the meter and regulator stations, you must contact Energinet.dk’s gas control centre immediately on tel. +45 80 30 10 45 or alternatively contact the police/fire brigade.

Stop work
If natural gas is leaking from the pipe, you must stop all work close by and ensure that everybody leaves the site. You must also ensure that open fire is not used, and that no action is taken which may cause the leaking natural gas to ignite.

If ELECTRICITY is involved
Stop work and ensure that nobody moves within:
- 10 metres of high-voltage lines which have fallen down
- 2 metres of low-voltage lines which have fallen down
- 5 metres of cables which have been damaged

  • Report the accident to Energinet.dk or the local electricity company

Accidents and emergencies may take the form of:

  • Overhead lines falling down
  • Damage to cables during work

Call us before starting work near our cables or overhead lines! We can be contacted on tel. +45 76 22 45 51 between 8-16.
