The electronic data exchange is based on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). Proper data communication on time is important, since incoming data form the basis for final invoicing. EDI is used for data exchange both on the electricity market and the gas market.
Ediel is the name of the standard used when data are communicated between the players on the electricity market and Energinet.dk. Communication with Nord Pool also takes places in accordance with the Ediel standard.
The standard is written by Ediel Nordic Forum in the form of so-called Implementation Guides that can be downloaded from the organisation’s website.
For further information, please contact Christian Odgaard, Energinet.dk.
In case of new balance responsible parties’ application for registration or submission of proportional figures in a grid area, the information must be sent to Energinet.dk via e-mail: afregning@energinet.dk.
The e-mail must contain the following information:
- Which player does it concern, and which time series?
- Date of entering into force?
- With which Ediel number shall the time series be sent?
- With which time resolution and unit are the time series sent?
The settling office will subsequently contact the grid company when the time series can be sent.
