The number of solar panels has grown significantly since 1 January where 3,630 units had been installed.
The current number is 25,942, corresponding to an increase of 130 MW in nine months, and the number is increasing rapidly.

- We are experiencing rapid development, with every month breaking new records, and we will reach 140 MW by the end of September, says Nicolaj Nørgaard Petersen, Head of Customer Services at Energinet.dk.

Energinet.dk has mapped the location of the many thousand solar panel units installed in Denmark. The solar panel installations are particularly numerous in the Central Denmark Region, while the Capital Region of Denmark counts the fewest.
