New call for research proposals opened in the SmartGrids ERA-Net 
Energy research funding institutions in Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Turkey, and the Basque Country jointly invite researchers and industry to participate in a call for applied research projects in the SmartGrids ERA-net.

The call encompasses project ideas within selected thematical areas of smart grids. An alignment with the SET-plan, the EEGI-roadmap, and/or the ETP-strategic research agenda is preferable.

The call will be conducted in a two-stage process: First as a pre-proposal (deadline 15 March 2011), followed by an invited full proposal (dead-line 10 June 2011). The total budget for the call is approximately M€ 2.35.
