It is mandatory for gas suppliers, distribution companies and Energinet.dk to use EDI-based communication for data interchange containing information of change of supplier and gas consumption.. 

Test of EDI messages
Before a gas supplier can use EDI-based communication, his EDI-based system must be tested and approved. Testing of the communication messages takes place through a web portal developed by Energinet.dk: www.ediport.dk..
