Gas from Germany 
Energinet.dk has from October the 1st 2010 opened up the possibility of physical import of gas from Germany.

The physical import of gas will depend on the commercial demand for transport in the border point between Denmark and Germany (Ellund). It is therefore not possible to precisely predict time and quantities.

The share of German gas will in such case be highest in the South-Jutland area from the town of Egtved and southwards. When large quantities of gas are imported, they will be mixed with gas from the Danish North Sea fields at the stations east and north of Egtved.

The imported German gas will comply with the gas quality rules laid down in the Danish Gas Regulations and Rules for Gas Transport.
