Sections of pipeline which require a particularly high safety level are inspected by our gas engineers on foot. Inspection on foot is the best way of forming an impression of the areas involved and the activities taking place on them, and the method provides an excellent opportunity for performing leak gas testing locally. Our engineers bring along any equip-ment necessary to trace the pipeline in the ground, and they are therefore able to assess the safety situation on and around the pipeline with 100% precision.

When performing inspection on foot, our gas engineers sometimes have to enter private property. But they do so on lawful business and are always careful not to damage plants etc.
