1. Entry capacity - capacity into the system, which can be purchased at four different points:
- Nybro, which is connected to the off-shore pipelines from the North Sea
- Ellund, which is connected to the German transmission system
- Dragør, which is connected to the Swedish transmission system
- BNG-entry, which is bio gas upgraded to the quality of natural gas. The capacity is used to receive gas in all areas of Denmark.
2. Transit capacity - capacity out of the system from three specific points
Generally speaking, transit capacity is parallel to entry capacity but is linked to transport of gas out of Denmark in Nybro, Ellund, and Dragør, respectively.
Excess capacity may be sold via Energinet.dk's CTF.
Interruptible capacity
Interruptible capacity can only be offered in a situation where Energinet.dk cannot offer sufficient capacity. When such situations occur Energinet.dk will start to offer interruptible capacity to shippers. As a rule, when purchasing interruptible capacity the shipper will have access to the capacity, but must accept that Energinet.dk might reduce the capacity within the term of agreement. Shippers with interruptible capacity risk not being supplied with the full amount of gas.
2. Exit zone capacity - capacity out of the system in the national exit zone
The capacity is used for delivering gas out of the system to all of Denmark, i.e. in connection with delivery to the five Danish distribution areas and the three end consumers directly connected to the transmission system.
