The neutral purchase and sales price forms the basis for the settlement of shippers' balancing gas volumes. It also applies in situations with emergency supply, force majeure, off-spec gas and reconciliation.
The neutral price is calculated on the basis of the price at the Nord Pool Gas Exchange - the Danish Gas Exhange. The calculation method is described in Energinet.dk's price list.
Each month's neutral gas price is published at the beginning of the following month.
