We wish to make sure that our employees enjoy good health no matter how old they are. We ensure this primarily by supporting initiatives and activities proac-tively and preventively strengthening the upkeep of good health. We also want to ensure that our employees have a safety net in the event of illness in the form of quick treatment and financial compensation.
Healthy food
Energinet.dk wants healthy food to be served in its canteens.
In the canteens at the Erritsø and Ballerup locations, furnishing and menus are adapted to the needs and desires of the employees. At the other locations solu-tions have been provided that meet the needs and desires of the employees.
All employees can join a free fruit scheme. Tjere are free fruit schemes at the Erritsø and Ballerup locations. At the other locations schemes have been intro-duced that meet the needs and desires of the employees.
Preventive efforts
All employees are offered inter-disciplinary treatment and semi-annual health checks as required (Health Group & CopenFysio).
All employees are offered a flu shot once a year. Flu shots can be given at the employees' place of work or by their own doctors. The expenses in this connec-tion will be reimbursed.
Exercise and fitness
At the Erritsø and Ballerup locations there are modern fitness rooms which the employees can use outside working hours.
Employees working at locations other than Erritsø and Ballerup are offered solu-tions that to the extent possible meet their needs and desires.
Energinet.dk supports the staff association's activities financially in order to sup-port the employees' participation in various sports arranged by the staff associa-tion.
Insurance
All employees are covered by a treatment insurance.
All employees are covered by a critical illness insurance and a life insurance as part of the corporate pension scheme.
Alcohol policy
In consideration of the performance of the work, the general safety at the work-place and Energinet.dk's image, the consumption of alcohol during working hours and at Energinet.dk's premises is not allowed.
Considering alcohol problems as an illness on a par with all other illnesses, En-erginet.dk normally offers support to employees attempting to solve such prob-lems.
All requests from an employee or his/her family will be treated confidentially. No employee will be dismissed or lose his/her current job if he/she seeks help or accepts offers of help.
Smoking policy
In consideration of the general health at the workplace, smoking is not allowed at Energinet.dk's premises and in its vehicles.
There is, however, at least one room or a designated area at each location whe-re smoking is allowed.
In certain circumstances, Energinet.dk offers stop-smoking courses to its em-ployees.
Counselling
Immediate counselling is offered to employees as required in the event of vio-lent incidences occurring in the family or elsewhere. This help is offered under Energinet.dk's agreement with Health Group & CopenFysio.
