Energinet.dk helps to tie everyting together. We do not develop electric vehicles and solar cells, but without us there would be no way of integrating the electricity produced by the new installations into the transmission grid.

Denmark is a pioneer when it comes to integrating renewable energy into the power system. We are proud of that, and of course would like nothing more than to continue being number 1. This would require us to continuously stay ahead of the field where the development and integration of new technologies are con-cerned. Therefore we provide financial support til various research projects to the tune of DKK 130 annually.
