Wave power is an exciting technology whereby the wave energy is converted into electricity. The sea holds enormous strength, and wave-power plants must therefore be very robust.
Denmark undertakes some research in wave power, and the technology is tested at small wave-power plants. However, it will take many years of further research before wave power will become a serious contributor to the overall electricity supply.
