ForskVE
ForskVE is an external programme supporting the dissemination of small RE technologies, ie solar cells, wave power and biogas. The programme focuses not on research and development but on demonstration and the increased use of renewable energy sources in energy production. The programme runs from 2008 to 2011 and has an annual budget of DKK 25m determined by the Danish Parliament.

ForskNG
ForskNG is a programme with annual tenders for external projects and solutions to internal tasks within Energinet.dk. The programme ensures the development of the natural gas system. This is a development that aims at also transporting other gases than natural gas in the transmission grid, eg biogas and hydrogen. The budget varies depending on the number of projects.

ForskIN
ForskIN is an internal programme on research and development in Energinet.dk’s core activities including security of supply and power system development. The programme budget varies year by year according to the number of projects.
