The Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building is the sole owner of Energinet.dk on behalf of the Danish state. The Minister ensures that Energinet.dk complies with the provisions of the Danish Act on Energinet.dk.

Quarterly meetings are held to inform the Climate, Energy and Building Minister of the status and development of Energinet.dk and of any other matters of material financial or political significance.

Supervisory Board
Energinet.dk is headed by a Supervisory Board of 11 members. Eight of these members are appointed by the Climate and Energy Minister. The other members are employee representatives.
