Energinet.dk’s Transmission Committee is a joint committee between Energinet.dk and the regional 132/150 kV transmission companies. The task of the Transmission Committee is to coordinate the work with the main transmission system, including planning, construction and operation and maintenance of transmission facilities, owned by or made available to the system operator at 132/150/220/400 kV voltage levels.

Representatives of the transmission companies and Energinet.dk sit on the Transmission Committees.

The members are appointed by the transmission companies and their number is adjusted to the number of transmission companies.

Energinet.dk participates with three members and provides a secretary. A member of Energinet.dk is appointed chairman of the Committee.

The Transmission Committee meets at least four times a year.
