Rating

Energinet.dk has a AA/stable/A-1+ rating from the rating agency Standard & Poor’s. This rating has been lowered in July 2009 from AA+. The main reason for this is the company's heavy in-vestmentprogram for the next 5-10 years.

The Nationalbank

According to the Act on Energinet Danmark, Section 14, Energinet.dk is entitled to raise a loan in the Danish central bank. We intend to avail ourselves of this option and other ordinary commercial loans depending on where the most favourable terms can be obtained.

As a public company, Energinet.dk is subject to special rules for borrowing.

Commercial Paper programme

Energinet.dk has established a Commercial Paper programme (certificate programme) in Sweden with a framework of SEK 5 billion. The programme has an A-1+ /K-1 rating from Standard & Poor’s. The programme is used for short-term financing up to one year.
