Energinet.dk has a quality management system, and a number of our processes are certified in accordance with ISO 9001 under three different certificates for gas, electricity in Eastern Denmark and electricity in Western Denmark.
For Energinet.dk’s gas activities, the processes of sale, metering and settlement of transmission services as well as the planning, design, establishment, operation and maintenance of the transmission systems are certified. For Energinet.dk’s electricity activities, settlements with market players and the supply of data to the Danish Energy Authority’s master data registers are certified.
Work is currently going into harmonising the three existing quality management systems to create a common process-oriented system with one ISO 9001 certificate. An expansion of the quality management system will commence in 2007. The aim is for the new system to cover all material processes and ensure a uniform approach to quality management throughout the organisation. The new quality management system will also be certified in accordance with ISO 9001.
Complicance programme
Energinet.dk has established a compliance programme, which sets out measures taken to ensure that discriminatory conduct is excluded, and ensures that observance of it is adequately monitored.
The compliance programme will be an integral part of the coming harmonised quality management system.
