Energinet.dk expands and renovates the main transmission grids. We are responsible for the long-term planning of the electricity grid at the 100 kV level and up to 400 kV and of our own gas transmission grid.

Information about major construction projects
In the event of major reconstructions or expansions of our electricity and gas transmission grids, which will affect people, nature and the environment, we wish to give the best possible information to the public. That is why we have set up special websites (in Danish) for our major construction projects. These pages provide information about why, how and when we wish to expand or renovate our transmission grids, and give detailed information about the authorities’ treatment of the projects. Landowners who will be directly affected by one of our construction projects can find information about our procedures for negotiating with landowners, compensation rules, etc. The public is welcome to send questions to the websites, where the time and place of public meetings about the projects are also published.
Tenders
Energinet.dk follows the EU procurement rules when inviting tenders for major construction and maintenance work. The tender invitations are therefore published in the TED database (Tenders Electronic Daily).
